what does the word "diet" spark for me? well, it sparks the thought that i need to start one, and that i've been meaning to start one for a few years.... months... now. i will start one soon. my diet itself actually is not bad. i eat plenty of fruits and vegetables (more veg than fruit), lean protein, whole grains. i do, however, have fast food more than i should. i'll try to cut back on that. my main issues are money (as always) and lack of recipes. i enjoy cooking, but first of all i don't get off until 11 two nights a week, and other nights i don't get off until 9 so by the time i get home i just want to throw something together instead of trying to create something new. i have tried a few new things on my days off though and they worked well, so i'll keep working on that. (maybe something julie&julia in my future?)
i have visions of this becoming a weight-loss blog, but i don't think that will ever really happen. this is mostly just my outlet for day to day life, and my way of forcing myself to use my brain again.
