1. Who is the better cook, you or your spouse? me. i do pretty much all the cooking... and i hate to say it but when he does cook, i don't usually like it. we tend to cook the way we grew up. my mom is an excellent cook, adventurous and creative and delicious. when i was little we were always entertaining, and she had (has) tons of recipes for appetizers and entrees that she could whip out. his mother... well, she's not a BAD cook, she's just not really excited by it so it tends to be really basic. his favorite go-to comfort meal is ramen and pb&j because that's what he grew up on. that pretty much sums it up.
2. How often do you talk to your mom? about once a week. would probably be more if we didn't work, but our schedules don't really allow time for us to talk more.
3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe? both. i'm still kinda new to cooking; i love to try out new recipes, but i'll also jazz them up with more or less of things i like, or i'll combine recipes sometimes.
4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe? no, about the same.
5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?) not usually. the last time i dressed up was for a party about 4 years ago. (3 years ago? i don't remember.) i was a black bird, with feathery black wings and super high pointy toe boots and black leggings under a short black dress, with fantastic eye makeup. it was fun, but i'm not really into halloween. i don't like to be a party pooper so i'll play along but really i just wait for it to be over.
