luckily, to mayish of 2012. this is good because i know money will still be tight if she has it next fall, but by that time i will be in a much more comfortable position. plus it gives me more time to work on a gift (either making one, or saving up to buy one) and more time to lose weight. because again, i refuse to be the fat pimply older unwed sister.
the downside is that i was planning to get married in summer of 2012... probably july or august. but i figure as long as we give the family plenty of notice it won't be too much of an issue, hopefully. i know the logical thing would be to just push mine back, since i'm not yet officially engaged, but numbers are important to me, and i don't want to get married in 2013. i don't know why, i just don't like the feel of it. 2012 is a nice, even number. so we'll see.
