cooking

i've been really into cooking the last few months. actually i've been interested a lot longer than that, but our oven in albuquerque didn't seem to be accurate, so i didn't want to try any baking because i knew that it wouldn't turn out. (those store-bought refrigerated dough cookies which are supposed to take 20 minutes took about 5 minutes in that oven.)

i'd really like to post more about what i cook on here, so i can remember my recipes and keep track of what i make. i need to make an effort to take pictures of everything i make, because i don't really think there's a point to a recipe if you can't see a picture of it. cooking more was one of my goals for this year, so i'm glad that i'm actually making progress on something.
